Prasad is responsible for all Engineering operations at India office. He has earlier worked with leading software product companies such as VERITAS (acquired by Symantec) in various leadership roles in Storage and Availability Group, which saw his career grow from a hands-on engineer to an Engineering leader with global responsibility of flagship products/features in VERITAS InfoScale Storage stack.

As an engineering leader, he has played key role in building great partners/OEMs, building and managing software development teams for enhancing the product and building new features to reposition the product for different markets. He has also contributed to the technical product management activities in the area of Software-Defined-Storage.

Prasad has been a strong advocate of Technical Leadership and has mentored several engineers to take-up critical senior roles. He is also an Inventor for 6 patents in the area of “Storage and Availability”.

Prasad holds M. Tech. In Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Kanpur and Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Pune University.

Apart from being a Technology leader, Prasad takes a keen interest in sports, Instrumental music and philosophy.
